Our triplets arrived this morning.
Elizabeth Jacilyn at 7:37 She weighed 2lb.14 1/2 oz. 15" long. She was born crying.
Carmina Ann at 7:38 She weighed 2lb. and is 14"long.
Gabriella Claire at 7:39 She weighed 2lb 9oz. and is 14 1/2" long.
Carmina was the only one who didn't have to go on a ventilator. She has been on room temp. She looks like a little old man. She gives us all a serious look and wrinkles her forehead. She holds our finger pretty tight. She opens her eyes for short periods and is doing excellent. She has dark brown wavy hair. She also has a dimple in her chin like her daddy.
Gabriella looks exactly like her identical sister Carmina but is bigger and a bit more filled out. She also has a dimple in her chin like her daddy. They both really do resemble him more.
Ellie has straight blond hair, her nose looks like her sisters. She has big eyes like her daddy. I think I am in trouble with this one. I am such a sucker for those big eyes of her dad's. She was the last one to come off the vent tonight.
We are filled with so many emotions right now and have fallen in love instantly the second we saw them.
We were blessed to have our family here and have so much support.
I can't even begin to describe the profoundly deep love and gratefulness I have for my mom. She has blessed us with 3 brand new lives. Our hearts are filled with love.
We will write more later to update everyone but we are going to check on the girls and sleep for a bit.
Thank you everyone that was here for us in everyway. All of you helped us get through this day.

Congratulations on the birth of your girls. That is a great thing your mother did for you. Glad she was there to do that for you. If it wasn't for people being surogets then there would be a lot of people without children.
I just read ur blog the babys r so cute and ull be in our prayers also they look like little angels.
I want to say congratulations.
I also want to say that I too offered the same to my daughter a few years back if it was found she and her husband could not have children. I didnt hesitate one minute with that offer.
I am 57 now and do have 2 beautiful grandsons, but I applaud your decisions fully.
It is the beauty of what God has "allowed us to accomplish" with science and technology, not to put us down for it and be narrow minded because one doesnt go by the "book". That is why we were given free will!! in the first place.
Good luck to you all and have a wonderful future together.
I would like to start off by saying that it is a truely blessing to be able to have a mother such as the one that you all have. I have never heard of an amazing story like this before. I want to definetly keep in prayer for your loving, wonderful and devoted mother. Secondly I want to say a huge prayer for your blessings of joy - the triplet girls. Third an enoromus prayer for you, your husband and your other 2 daugthers/ family. May the lord continue to bless you all in stength, body, mind and soul. May this bundle of joy bring tightness and closeiness into each and every last one of your lives. May GOD bless and keep you all safe and at peace. In JESUS NAME AMEN! Have a blessed life!
I normally dont sent comments to any thing that I read but I found myself crying reading your story, and I dont cry very much. There was a time I would have disagreed with your Mothers decision to carry a child for you.I am in my 50s and have a married son and two grand daugthers. What an amazing story of LOVE.The kind of unconditional love that is so rare and so needed in this life.Your babies are living proof of God's answering prayer and the power of a mothers love.Yours for your children and your mothers for her children.Thank you for sharing.
You do not know me. I was so happy and touched to read this amazing story of your search for parenthood and the blessings that it has brought to your family. The girls are beautiful and are blessed to be in this wonderful and loving family. So inappropriate for anyone to make judgments. Grandma is amazing. I wish you all a lifetime of love.of113917

I found about this blog through CNN. I just want to congratulate you on the birth of your 3 little angels. Your mom is a brave and strong lady and I admire her for what she did. God Bless your family!
I also heard through the news. It's amazing how they get wind of a story and run with it. Ignore the negative comments. There are some bitter, misguided, awful people out there who have nothing better to do than spout off about others' lives. You have a wonderful mother and a gorgeous family. You've been so blessed :). Enjoy your babies and congratulations!
Congratulations!! They look great! Your mother is amazing.

Congratulations on the birth of your daughters! Your mother is a true angel. I gave birth to my own surrogate baby 6 months ago, and I remember the joy on his parents' faces. They are true miracles, maybe even more so because so many people were involved in bringing them into this world!
Many wishes for healthy, happy healing to your little ones, and to your mother!
